    Gifts and business entertainment can be a part of developing relationships with clients and other business partners — but only when given or accepted in a way that demonstrates common sense and compliance with the law and company policies.

    Rethink It: Avoiding
    All Bribery

    At Rethink, we don’t bribe anyone for any reason. Remember that giving even a small gift can be perceived as bribery if the gift is intended to influence a business decision.

    • Don’t give gifts or offers of entertainment to gain favorable treatment or an unfair business advantage and don’t accept anything intended to influence business decisions
    • Keep in mind that only nominal, infrequent gifts or offers of entertainment and hospitality are acceptable
    • Are sensitive to the gift and entertainment policies of Rethink clients and other business partners and never make offers that could conflict with those policies
